If you can answer yes then we want to speak to you . . . Open Storage Solutions is looking for Inside Sales staff to join or teams in several of our offices. These positions may suit someone looking for a career move into Information Technology sales however previous experience in "High Tech" is a definite asset. Principle responsibility will include the qualification of incoming customer leads, combined with cold calling of both prospective and existing customers and assisting with customer events. Applicants should have a strong desire to maintain a high level technology specific (Data Storage, Backup & Recovery) understanding. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing and sales departments to generate new leads and build relationships, with both technology partners and customers. You may not currently work in the Information Technology sector, however you do have the following traits which describe our ideal candidate:Excellent interpersonal skills with the abilities required for solid relationship development.
- Ability to capture the imagination immediately and hold interest during a meeting.
- Good listening skills. Interviewing skills – to understand and extract business needs.
- Presentation skills.
- Academically inclined with the ability to understand various business challenges.
- Recognition of the need to not just sell the solution, but to help the customer manage the evolution of business processes they will need in order to achieve the value promised by the solution.
- Above-average level of aggressiveness needed to persist in order to succeed.
- Above average understanding of technology and computer applications.
- Career-oriented and keen to seek professional development opportunities.
- Self starter with enthusiasm who is able to work effectively as part of a team and alone.
- The ability to cold call is required.
- Excellent command of English is required.
- Bi-lingual in French is considered an asset, but not required.
