LeftHand Networks Gains Traction in US and Canada

Open Storage Solutions® Selects LeftHand's SAN/iQ Software to Address the Growing Demand for IP SANs

Open Storage Solutions® Inc, today announced that it has chosen LeftHand Networks® SAN/iQTM software, to be incorporated with its latest IP SAN offering for small and medium sized business. Open Storage Solutions chose LeftHand's software to round out the company's portfolio of storage offerings with an easy-to-manage solution that enables server and storage consolidation, robust disaster recovery/business continuance infrastructure and centralized backup capabilities.

LeftHand's SAN/iQ software will be integrated into the company's Infinity XFileT IP SAN, a storage solution from OSS which runs on the Intel® XeonT processor-based server architecture including an Intel® I/O processor. The SAN/iQ software leverages existing Ethernet infrastructure to provide the functionality of a fibre channel SAN while eliminating the learning curve, complexity and expensive components associated with alternative storage area network offerings.

Open Storage Solutions is the first and only Qlogic Canadian Signature VAR.

Open Storage Solutions® Inc, has been awarded Qlogic’s Signature VAR status. This follows an intensive training program and positions Open Storage Solutions as the first and only Qlogic Signature VAR in Canada. This status allows Open Storage Solutions to sell, service and support Qlogic switches and host-bus adapters (HBAs) throughout North America through their sales and service offices in the US and Canada.

NEXSAN RECIVES HIGEST RATING AMONG STORAGE PRODUCTS RATED BY INFO WORLD.

Nexsan Technologies led the storage category in InfoWorld's "Complete Guide to Hardware + Software" issue, featuring all 229 reviews published in the magazine's previous 12 months, with an "excellent" score of 9.1 out of 10 for its InfiniSANT ATAboy2. None of the other 29 storage products tested received marks in the 9 range.
