EMC Upgrades Data Domain Deduplication Storage Systems

EMC announced a significant upgrade to the EMC® Data Domain® midrange and entry-level deduplication storage systems, helping to drive continued scaling of performance and capacity across the entire product line.

Similar to the company’s Data Domain high-end solutions, the new DD630, DD610 and DD140 systems leverage the power of Data Domain's SISL™ (Stream Informed Segment Layout) scaling architecture to dramatically increase throughput performance and capacity.

Open Storage Solutions Adds EMC² to its NMSO and DISO Offerings

This contract enables federal offices and installations to purchase the listed products without the need to re-qualify the product or re-negotiate pricing. With an NMSO, Government of Canada departments and agencies can acquire equipment such as mass storage devices, SANs, archival storage equipment and software in a cost-effective and timely manner.  All of the items included in the NMSO agreement have been selected after rigorous benchmark testing and value analysis.
