Open Storage Solutions® Inc., a leader in providing data storage solutions in Canada and the US, announced today that they have just awarded Arrow Electronics the coveted Partner of the Year for 2011. The award was presented to Arrow Electronics Vice President and Canadian General Manager, Robert Boulet at the Open Storage Solutions annual meeting held on October 31, 2011 at their head office in Brampton Ontario.

OPEN STORAGE SOLUTIONS AWARDED NMSO BY GOVERNMENT OF CANADA.
New Mass Storage National Master Standing Offer to commence September 15 2011.
Open Storage Solutions® Inc., announced today that they have just been awarded a National Master Standing Offer (NMSO) from the Government of Canada’s Public Works Government Services (PWGSC). Open Storage Solutions was awarded the NMSO based on their Mass Storage category submissions. The new NMSO for Mass Storage will begin on September 15, 2011 and will, once published on the PWGSC Computer Acquisition Guide (CAG) website, replace the entire previous Archive Storage NMSO # E60EJ–04000T.

New secure datacentre brings affordable enterprise-class data protection to small and medium sized operations
Open Storage Solutions® Inc., announced today that they have just launched their disaster recovery (DR) solution and remote datacentre. The secure site, just north of Toronto, Ontario, boasts 8000 ft², with a capacity for over 200 racks. Their new disaster preparedness / recovery service, known as Remote Secure Vaulting and Protection (RSVP), which was unveiled at the same time, brings enterprise-class disaster recovery, and business continuity to small and medium businesses.

FALCONSTOR’S PARTNER ADVISORY COUNCIL
The disk-based data protection vendor, FalconStor Software, recently announced the formation of the FalconStor Partner Advisory Council (PAC), a collaborative forum of 14 inaugural partners representing a cross-section of the company's most active partners. These partners have been chosen for their experience in deploying FalconStor solutions across core segments of the industry. The council will hold annual in-person meetings as well as quarterly virtual meetings. The PAC kicked off with a conference call involving all 14 members.
