Located in Vaughan, Ontario, the datacentre is just minutes away from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport (YYZ), the 400 series highways, and Toronto’s downtown core. The 8,000 ft² (745 m²) facility provides capacity to house 200+ racks, private suites and cages, and a build-to-suit disaster recovery premise. This facility was built in 2004.

Power Infrastucture

On-site diesel-powered generators and
uninteruptable power systems (UPS) allow our facility to be independent of the local
power grid, guaranteeing uptime.

As part of a green initiative, the facility only utilizes bio-diesel for its generator fuel, and ensures that all lubricants and filters are disposed of to ensure that pollutants do not contaminate our environment.

Climate Control

The elaborate climate control system for our datacentre uses numerous subsystems to achieve a highly resilient and redundant operation. With a 2N chiller subsystem, N+2 fluid cooler subsystems, N+1 glycol pumping systems, and 2N condenser loop, the Climate Control system is geared for 100% uptime.

 

 

Security Infrastucture

Physical entrance to the facility is restricted by a three-tier physical challenge system. This level of security ensures that any of our tenants, visitors or contractors must pass BioMetric, PIN Code and Card Access verification to enter. Security is supported by CCTV, which is deployed throughout.

In order to ensure the highest security level, all personnel must be escorted by assigned personnel to any mission critical areas.
